5^th & 6^th MAY 2012

Event 1: Shoeing 70 mins

Shoe one front  ¾ fullered, toe clip, six nail holes.

Shoe one hind ¾ fullered, toe clip, six nail holes.

Event 2: Forging 60 mins

Frog eyed bar shoe ¾ fullered.

Right hind calk & feather.  Calk & feather both to be minimum 25mm high.

As per blue print.

Event 3: Shoeing 70 mins

Shoe one front ¾ fullered, toe clip, six nail holes.

Shoe one hind ¾ fullered, toe clip, six nail holes.

Each team member must perform a different task to event 1.

Event 4: Forging 80 mins

Full set of show shoes, toe clipped, plain stamped, seven nail holes.

As per blue print.

Event 5: Eagle Eye 15 mins

Plain stamped shoe.  Centre dot.

One man to get 10 second look at foot and without touching the shoe in any way, give instructions on type and dimensions of hoof to his team members.
