A huge thankyou to the dedicated members who went beyond the call of duty and helped to organise the 2010 Farriers Nationals
It is a hard job bringing everything together so it works out on the day. Each year its harder to convince people to jump in and help. Its usually the same people each year.
We'd like to mention a few very special thank you's to a couple of people.
Tom Affleck the AFBA president would have to get the Sportsmanship award.
Tom was entered into the 1 Man Draught event, and with only just enough horses for competitors, one Intermediate competitor who put late entries in would have missed out on competing in this event and maybe the chance at High Point.
Tom Affleck gave up his spot and let the Intermediate guy take his horse.
Thankyou Tom, its sportsmanship like this, that makes for a great event.
Adam Morris, who fortunately for the association lives in Tamworth, where the event is held, and all the organising falls onto him at that end. He made sure our venue was a goer, and when it poured for days and flooded our tent, he was there to help sort out a solution. He organised horses for the shoeing competition, and their transport.
Also John Dillon, who wasnt competing, but turned up and did a fine job of announcing.
Thankyou to all that did something to help, its much appreciated.

Our sponsors were terrific and so very supportive, some are with us every year supporting the industry and some have just come on board.
Couldnt do it without you.
